The Libyan inscriptions were founded in all North
Africa, in the Canarian islands and particularly in
Tunisia. They frequently contained signs identical to the
forms of Tifinag (Tuaregue). The Libyan writing
is an alphabet system aparently limited to the
transcription of consonants. It is presented in
horizontal lines, traced from the write to the left or in
vertical lines traced from the low to the top.
This writing seams not having the same valour, in the
different regions, and also did not found, proper
interpretations, until now. |
